Hello,

So long story shirt: I want to change my printer's email address. What I would have done before was going to the ePrint website and do it. Since it was retired, I recall having done it through HP Connected.

So that was what I tried to do. But it's telling me that the email/password is incorrect. Having tried to reset the passowrd, it now tells me that the account doesn't exist!

After this, I've tried creating a new account. My country (Portugal) doesn't even show up. What I'm realizing here, is that HP removed HP Connected from Portugal, and I, having the printer registered on the site, wasn't even informed.

Is there any way I can solve this? Because I'm really upset that I bought a printer with certain features, paid more for them, only to see them now removed.

Thank you.

Hi,

See the following document on this matter:

http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04700720

HP Connected is supported on select countries only, it was never supported on other countries but more are being added..

You may still be able to register to HP Connected by selecting another country with a matchine email address, meaning you will not be able to use a local domain's email.

You may select United States and use a global domain email (e.g. any @gmail.com address) and create an account, then you may add the printer using the claim code and customize the address as required.

Hope that helps,

Shlomi

Hello,

I've created a new HP Connected account, with my personal email ending with '.pt', and selected United States as the country. It worked.

Therefore I managed to do what I wanted.

Thanks for your solution and best regards,

João.
