My HP Envy 6052 wont print at all. Worked just fine yesterday. It printed the one page I needed. Today when I print, in the printer queue I get "Error-Printing", no matter if i try it from word or HP smart. If I try printing from my cell phone, nothing happens.
Printer shows all indications it is ready and normally functioning. I tried using the HP print & Scan doctor, it verifies it is on the network (HP smart also sees it), but again it wont print. The virtual help bot not helpful at all.
I have tried restarting the printer, made sure the network sharing was on, changed ink cartages, checked the paper, restarted the printer spooler, tried to print different file types, restarted the computer, made sure the latest updates were installed on the computer and printer.

Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand that you are getting printer errors, I am glad to assist you.
This seems to be a driver issue, uninstall the old driver from the root level and reinstall the driver to fix the issue.
Perform root level uninstallation to remove all the printer related software's.
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
- Select your HP printer.
- Select Uninstall.
- In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
- In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
- Click on Drivers tab.
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
- Select OK.
- Remove all instances of the same.
- Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
- Close Devices and Printers.
- Restart the PC again.
Download and install the printer using HP smart app
Keep me posted.
If this helps, please mark the public post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

So this now leaves me with HP smart still saying everything is fine and now no driver for the printer my computer detects. And HP smart is not installing the driver. Left me worse off.
