Hi all! I am using an HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - N911a and am having serious issues with connecting wirelessly. When I go on the printer's interface, I go to settings and try to connect to my wireless network.
But, when I go to that setting, I see other networks pop up but not mine. I also then try to input the wireless network manually and it says it can't find it. But, the router is right next to the printer and computers connect to the wireless network just fine. I've tried resetting both the router and the printer to no avail, and I now can't get computers to connect to the printer wirelessly.
We have been having a lot of trouble with this printer recently and would love some help (the printer also prints in black streaks inexplicably - but that's another issue for a different thread I'll make).
Does anyone have any insight on why the wireless connection isn't working and what I can do to help get our computers connected wirelessly? Thanks so much!

Welcome to HP forums.
To confirm if the printer is connected to a router, print a wireless report.
Print the page from the Wireless, Network Settings or Setup menu.
If it says it is not connected to the network, follow the below steps.
To reset the printer's network settings
Touch (right arrow), touch Setup, and then touch Network. Touch Restore Network Defaults, and then select Yes. A message appears stating that the network defaults have been restored.
Connect the printer again to WiFi using the wireless setup wizard
1. Set up the printer hardware. See the getting started guide or the setup poster that came with your printer.
2. On the printer control panel, touch (right arrow), touch Setup, and then touch Network.
3. Touch Wireless, touch Wireless Setup Wizard, and then touch OK.
4. Follow the display instructions to complete the setup.
Download and install the printer driver.
Click here to download the driver.
Let me know how it goes.
To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.
