HP Smart App keeps logging me out

I have been dealing with the issue for years. I say we all boycott HP and buy other printers cause I am sick of having to sign in to even print. I have a dozen devices that my family prints from and I have to sign in repeatedly for my kids to print. This is **bleep**. I have the Mother Trucking IP, Mac address and Bluetooth address. I paid for it. why do I have to allow HP to track every page I print. what If I want to print something that know one should see. what about intellectual property. this is an invasion of privacy.

Same problem here. It is not acceptable you need to login to use an offline printer you paid for. I will not buy an HP printer again and I will suggest everybody to boycott HP printers.

Yep.  I'm going back to Epson because this USED to be easy to use when printing from my iphone or when other family members wanted to print.  The printer is now basically a useless piece of junk taking up real estate in my home.  I hope other companies will not follow them down this path.

Speaking with our money may be the ONLY way to get HP to relent.  At the very least you'd think they'd give us a way to stay logged in for 30-90 days at a stretch.  Don't know why they thought this was a good move. I'm looking at other printers like many others here. It's a shame because this had worked well in the past.

6 months on from this post and the issue is still hanging...
I have the same issue and it is bloody annoying.
