I have 2 shortcuts set up in HP Smart app. 1 will save scanned images (via phone camera) as a JPG to my OneDrive and the 2nd will save scanned images (via phone camera) as a PDG to my OneDrive. These have worked flawlessly for years. Recently I started to receive an error that stated "There was a problem sending your Shortcut. Please try again later". This will always happen....BUT....if I only do 1 page at a time then it will upload seamlessly.
This is very annoying when I have a multi-page document. I can find nothing on this issues and trying to get in touch with anything other than the virtual assistant to review this issue seems impossible with HP. Please help!!

Hi @JV63,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 printer's HP Smart app is not allowing you to upload multiple pages at once and only allowing one page at a time, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can follow to resolve the issue.
- Update HP Smart App: Make sure you are using the latest version of the HP Smart app. Check your app store for updates and install any available updates.
- Check Scanner Settings: Ensure that the scanner settings on your printer are configured to scan multiple pages into a single document. You should typically find this option in the printer's settings or scan settings menu. Look for options like "Scan to PDF" or "Combine into one document."
- Driver Update: Ensure that your printer has the latest drivers installed on your computer. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause issues with scanning. Visit the HP website to download and install the latest drivers for your specific printer model.
- Software Conflicts: Check if there are any other scanning or printer-related software that may be interfering with the HP Smart app. Close or uninstall any such software temporarily to see if it resolves the issue.
- Reinstall HP Smart App: If the problem persists, try uninstalling the HP Smart app and then reinstalling it. This can help reset any configuration issues.
- Scan from Printer Control Panel: If the app continues to have issues, try scanning directly from the printer's control panel. Most modern HP printers, including the OfficeJet Pro 9025, have a touch screen or control panel that allows you to initiate scanning and select the scan settings directly on the printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

I have removed the app, logged out reset my phone and done numerous other things it seems. The app is still not functioning properly. I do realize that I can use the printer to also scan items but the purpose of the app function is to be able to use this feature to scan documents when not near the printer, etc. This has worked flawlessly for years now but is no longer working and I continue to get an error ONLY when scanning multiple pages in the app. It works well one page at a time. There has to be more of an issue here unfortunately.

They have requested I call and speak to someone. I will update this if I do find a resolution. I will say, though, that I tried to do multiple pages WITHOUT using a shortcut and it seemed to work so it may be that it is just the shortcut that is the issue. I have, of course, deleted and recreated the shortcut with no luck so it may just be something in the shortcut process itself. Again, I will update once I have spoken with support to see if we arrive at a solution

Thanks JV63 for calling that out, That workaround worked for me as well. I will keep checking here for further information on a resolution to shortcuts.
For HP - it would be nice when using the longer way to do this if the save to location was remembered by the app instead of having to select multiple folders to get to the correct location each time.
