I have an HP printer and a plan that only allows me to print 10 pgs a month. When the updates complete a page prints to tell je this, which uses my paper, ink and page allotment, how do I stop this from happening? Thanks.

@Sjmacdonald1036 That is printed as designed, there's no way of changing that, as it prints your configuration, to ensure the printer is working and to provide the necessary details to the user, And if you have an HP Instant Ink subscription, that's 15 free pages a month, that's the standard free plan, not 10 pages as far as I know.
P.S: Welcome to HP Community 😉
