How do i print from android to hp printer ?

Hello

I have a samsung s7 edge phone and a hp envy 5540 printer .

In word pressing print does nothing.

I wish to print via ms word without uploading my files to the cloud.

None of the hp apps work without going online first. Hp ePrint will only work after uploading. The other hp apps all want the same or just don't work.

• Any ideas how to directly send a file from my phone to my printer and still have access to print settings ?

Be great to do it all from word but Word seems to have no settings for printers...

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

I'd like to help!

From OneDrive I select the box next to the document I want to print then I select the share icon from the menu at the bottom. Next, select the send files option and I select my HP ePrint from the list of apps that comes up.
