I currently do not join any wireless Internet service because the mobile plan is more economical.
I meet a problem at connect the HP DeskJet 2700 printer to my mobile hotspot (IOS14.7). When I use the HP Smart App to set up the printer, I cannot find my mobile personal hotspot during the "Connect Printer to Wi-Fi" process. How do HP printers connect to mobile hotspots?Thank you so much for your help 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hi,
You may not connect the printer through a Mobile hotspot, a such offers internet connectivity only, not local networking as required for such a device.
You may enable Wi-Fi Direct and connect your device to print wirelessly without a local network:
https://support.hp.com/ie-en/document/ish_1841315-1637332-16
You may need to enable the feature for the printer, you may find the steps for your printer on page 23 of its user guide:

While only printing is supported via Wi-Fi Direct using either HP Smart or AirPrint, scanning is not officially supported for such a connection but you may still scan using the EWS interface, see the 'Scan with an HP printer (Chromebooks) > Scan with Webscan (Chromebooks)' section of below support document:
