Envy 5540

Trying to connect my HP ENVY 5540 printer to my laptop and to my ipad but I cant find the IP Address. The printer says that the " IP " is 10.6.204.46 and it is connected to the ASK4 wifi. I have tryed and typed the "IP" numbers into the IP Address but it doesnt seem to be working. Also - on my ipad it isnt recofnised as a printer in the options but is on the wifi connections.

Make sure all your devices are on the same network.    Access your router and verify all IP addresses.  What  are the IP's of all your devices????

ALl devices are connected to the same network.

Laptop IP is : 10.6.194.36

Printer IP is : 10.6.204.46

ipad IP is : 10.6.198.216

iphone IP is : 10.6.199.107

tried again to enter the printer IP address into the set up requirments - again not found - and ipad isnt recognising it as a printer.

WHAT DO I DO?!

Actually all of them are on different networks.  The first 3 digits must be the same.   Have no idea what is happening here.   Suggest you hard reset your router and verify all connections again.
