New HP app no longer allows double sided printing from iphone

Is anyone else no longer able to print double sided from their iPhone starting on the last month?(nov’25) since the new app?

The recent update to the HP Smart app for iOS introduced a new interface and workflow. Some advanced print options, including double-sided (duplex) printing, are temporarily unavailable in the mobile app for certain printers. HP is aware of this and is working on restoring full functionality in future updates.

Current Workarounds

1. Use AirPrint from iOS
   • Open your document → Tap Share → Print → Select your HP printer.
   • Under Options, enable Two-Sided if supported by your printer.
      
2. Print from the HP app on the Desktop
   • Download the HP app for Windows or macOS for full duplex control:

3. Update the HP App Regularly
   • Check the App Store for updates. HP is actively working to restore duplex printing in the mobile app.
