Product: envy 7640
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I am considering buying an envy 7640.  Can anyone tell me if it is OCR capable?  If so, is the software included, or must I purchase separately (& what is the name?)  Thanks in advance for your help!  ~KBo

Yes, but you have to buy separately. You can try the following software first:

 

     http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/readiris/Readiris14ProHPWin.zip
