Hi there,
I recently purchased an Officejet 7510 (A3 mfp) with wifi etc. I cannot print from my iPad, even though the WIFI is shown as connected on the printer and iPad. When I send a print from the iPad, a small screen appears saying 'Printing to "HP Officejet 7510 series [597791]" Connecting to printer...' and that's where it stays.
I am using an EE 4GEE mobile Internet device which both the printer and iPad can see and is connected. I can print fine from my PC (Windows 7 32 bit), via USB - I have unplugged the Ethernewt cable from my Virgin box.
I have an app installed on the iPad called AiO Remote which can connect to the printer, all the printer details and properties appear - I can even print reports off so the iPad is connected!
Finally, I went into Birmingham Apple store for help, the guy there said I need to switch on the 'Air Print' option on the printer - I have looked at the menu but cannot find this on the printer!
I would be most grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction to enable the 'Air Print' please.
Is there anything else I could do so I can print from my iPad please?
Many thanks Dave.

For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this:
- Did the HP all in one remote app ever work and print correctly?
- Did it stop working after a recent app update or IOS update?
- Did you try to uninstall the HP all in one remote app and reinstall it and check?
For a start please try these steps:
- Please uninstall the HP all in one remote app.
- Then reinstall the All in one remote app from by following the steps from this link: http://hp.care/2t6hP6w which helps you download, use and install HP all in one remote app and also answers all the FAQs. It is a great app for printing and scanning.

Hi David,
Firstly, thank you very much for your help and advice. To answer the 3 points you require further information to:
1 I could print reports from the app etc, I was actually under the impreession that once the printer was connected, I could print from anywhere on my iPad, for example in Mail I would be able to select an email and press option to print!
2 No the app did not stop working, mind you I don't think I downloaded an upgrade, I am not too sure about this!
3 No I did not unintsall the app, did not think of it to be honest!
I have followed your steps and I now see that (I think this is correct!), all printing must go through the HP all-in-one app??
I am now unsure how to print from my Mail on the iPad? When I have the email on the screen to print, I select the curved arrow to right, and select print from the 3 options. The printer names show in the box, I select print then a screen shows "Printing to "HP Officejet 7510 series [597791]" connecting to printer.... I think the email must go through the HP Smart app?
Many thanks for your help David - I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi @Davebabe,
I reviewed the post comprehensively. Your brilliant efforts, remarkable persistence and great resolve to try and fix the issue are amazing. I hope it pays off and the issue gets resolved without hassles. First, uninstall the HP all in one remote app from your Ipad. Then restart the Ipad and download the HP smart app, formerly known as HP all In one Remote app from Apple Itunes.
Then start printing from your emails. This should do the trick for you.
Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes. To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles.
Take care and have a blessed week ahead. 🙂
Cheers!
