Hello, I have an HP Photosmart C4780 that I have used with my HP computer in a wired fashion for years. Now that the computer is on it's way to retirement I would like to be able to use the printer wirelessly from my Samsung phone and tablet. I have not been able to get the printer to connect wirelessly to my Verizon Fios on any device. To make matters worse, when I recently put in new ink the alignment got off and now everything is fuzzy when I print wired (but copies seem fine - weird). When I have tried updating drivers/re-installing software on my HP computer to assist with re-alignment and connecting, it does not successfully install and recognize the printer.
I started with HP support for the wireless connection issue and they told me to contact Verizon. I contacted Verizon and showed them both the WPS push button and PIN methods and how they would not connect and they have told me to contact HP again. I also downloaded the HP Smart app to see if it would detect the printer and not only does it not find it, online it says this printer is supported but when I went to manually a printer in the app, it is not listed. Does anyone have any advice to get this going?

Is your Network a Dual Band? Please Note that this printer can only connect to 2.4 GHz Network
If the printer is not detecting your Network this is likely because your Router is broadcasting at 5 GHz
If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, then the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.
Thank you
