I have printers located at various offices of ours around the country, and would like to be able to see the current page count, or get an automatic page count report sent to our main office email via HPConnected without having to put each machine on Instant Ink.

Is it possible to see a page count through HP Connected without having Instant Ink turned on?

Hey @DelAssist,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums.

I understand that you are wondering if it would be possible to check page counts using HP Connected without enrolling in the Instant Ink program. As communicating page counts is for tracking and billing purposes, it would not be possible to use this feature without being enrolled or on non-Instant Ink printers.

If you are wanting to track page count totals remotely and have a VPN, you can enter the printer's IP Address to access a printer's embedded web server and check the total page count there. You can also have a printer print a status or self-test report and that will show you the printer's total page count.

I hate that this is the "solution" - but I'll accept solution.
