Printer does not print all of the pages of a document

Hello HP Community!

Trying to print a 36 page document. Printer only printed 19 pages. (Printer is not out of paper or ink)  I reprinted the document deselecting (pages 19-36) the pages that had printed. This time the printer printed pages 1-13; I repeated what I did first time around, deselecting pages 1-13, leaving only pages 14-18. The printer printed pages 9-13, which was incorrect; so I deselected all pages and then only selected pages 14-18; the printer printed pages 9-13 again???

Can anyone tell me how to fix this? I really don’t want to continue wasting paper and ink.

Have you tried restarting both printer and phone?

If done,

try printing just 2 pages of the document, Pages 1-2

If that works, print pages 3-4

If that works, print pages 4-10

and so on...

What?

The Page Range should work - that said, if the printer ran out of resource (for example, memory, connection faltered), then the printer might balk, hold onto bad information (from a previous attempt).

Restarting everything and trying a couple of pages at a time before increasing the increments might work.

Hint:

If restarting everything does not, consider uninstalling the app from the phone > Restart Phone > Install App from your App Store.

Note

If you are printing two sided, be sure to include a front-side-back-side "set" of pages in each group so when you are finished, all the pages will "fit together" in a cohesive completed document.
