Printer erroneously reports not encrypted wireless network

HP Recommended
macOS 10.15 Catalina

After installing a booster to the wifi network, the printer reports that it cannot connect to wifi network. It finds the network but erroneously reports that the network is not encrypted. Connection to network fails.
