Mobile Printing
Print from your Android, iOS, or Amazon Fire device with the HP Mobile printing app.
Find your printer (if it is supported) for HP Smart here:
If your printer is not supported by HP Smart, you may use whatever print software is supported on the (iPhone) device - settings and "how-to" are likely provided in that application's own "how to print" help file / documentation.
If your printer is supported by HP Smart...
How-to document for HP Smart:
First video shows how to connect the printer.
Second video shows how to use the application > titled: Printing Photos from an iOS Device
- How change the settings, including to change the paper size starts at 53 seconds into the 1:17 minute video.
- Document printing is similar to printing photos in that the settings are adjusted in a similar manner.
Based on my experience (which may differ from your own situation):
The HP Smart application (at this writing) does not provide the ability to change the actual font size; changes of this type must be completed in the document before it is sent to print. This limitation is typical of this type of application.
Select the file to print > Print > Settings (horizontal lines with intersecting circles in the upper right corner)
Select "Resize" = Original, Fit to Page, Fill Page
If you need something "more", edit the document before sending it to the printer.
For example,
Import / copy / add the document to (Notes, then to) Pages. The formatting, including font type and cont size can be adjusted within the document and then saved. Print that saved file / content. The print reflects the (smaller / larger) font size.
