Hi All, I'm a complete newbie. I've just bought the 7305, and when using MS Windows, I can print borderless 4x6 photos. But when I use the App on my iPhone, it always prints a white border at the bottom, which is useless. How can I get it to do borderless printing? Thanks

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I have been using the fill option from the start, and the picture on the smart app shows it being a full 6x4 print with no border. However, each time it still prints with a 1cm white border on one edge. I have tried several different prints, and they all print the same. If I print the same photos on my Windows computer, they all print full borderless.

You are welcome.
It was worth a try -- it is the easier of the explanations.
Not sure, though it is apparently not the printer causing the disparity in the output.
At the moment, I don't have an HP Smart Mobile test example that shows all the iterations (combinations of settings).
I will take a look and post back if I find anything that stands out.

Considerations
What is the source of the images? iPhone camera, other?
iPhone - HP Smart - Mobile
Opening a photo / image in the HP Smart app fits the photo to the preview print screen.
Does removing the Fill setting make a difference to the shape of the preview or to what is included in the content?
---------------------------------------------------------------
HP Smart - Windows -
Opening a photo / image in the HP Smart app fits the photo to the preview print screen.
The application creates a print using "Crop" or "Shrink to Fit"
Scaling
Crop creates even borders around the edges of the photo.
Portions of the original content might be cut (removed) when the shape of the photo is matched to the shape of the paper.
Shrink to Fit retains the content and shape of the original photo at the expense of the size and shape of the borders. "Fit" can result in uneven borders.
Borderless magnifies the content to fill the space as best can be done.
If the shape of the original print does not match the shape of the paper, the photo / image must be adjusted to fit the paper.
If Crop is selected along with Borderless,
The application will produce a Borderless print at the expense of the content boundaries.
