Hello,

My manager accidently deleted our HP Connected settings (we hadn't used our printer claim code yet).

We've tried to set up HP Connected again however keep getting an error message:

Web services could not be set up.

We've tried a factory reset, however we're still unable to get it to work.

Please could you advise?

Many thanks.

Fleur.

Hi,

1- Restore network defaults on your printer

2- Set network configuration to DHCP

3- Get Subnet mask, default gateway and DNS of your computer by typing ipconfig/all from the Command Prompt

4- Get the network configuration of your printer to compare the values. Subnet mask, default gateway and DNS should be the same

5- Make sure date and time is sinchronized

6- Make sure printer has the latest firmware version

7- Enable web services from the web interface of your printer

8- Reprint the claiming code

9- Set up the feature again
