I use Affinity photo and like to vary the size of my prints.  I haven't encountered any problems when printing A4.  The issue arises when I attempt to print A5 sized documents, even though the printer specifically has a tray for this size paper.  It fails to recognise the paper tray.

Any idea how to solve this problem?

Many thanks.

Probable it knows A5 papers but does not know A5 photo papers. A5 is 1/2 of A4 therefore please try the following trick: Print 2 photos on A4 photo papers and cut.

Hope this helps.

Regards.

I appreciate your suggestion but I'm trying to reserve my ink as well.  It just defeats the object.  This model has been designed specifically for printing photo paper for sizes, 4x5", 4x6", 5x7", &  8.5x11". Both paper trays should be recognisable otherwise it is a useless product.
