WIFI DIRECT PIN

Hello

 I have received two printed documents  giving me a WIFI DIORECT PIN code. then it shows this PIN code will be valid for 90 seconds.. What is 90 seconds? when I receive these im not even by my computer. it states when "Prompted" enter this pin in your computer.or mobile device. I do not use my mobile device for printing. I just Talk and Text. When am I "prompted"? Where do I enter it? there is no Directional Instructions. 

When reconnecting to this printer use WIFI DIRECT in the future. What is this talking or regarding about? I'm so confused.. Why is this coming up now?

The technology is similar to Bluetooth, but uses Wi-Fi to work at greater distances and faster speeds.
