Bluetooth smart is turning on - is always on screen, ever since I bought this printer - which is only a few weeks old. I have no problem printing, but it just won't disappear from the screen, and I have t unplug it to get to the main menu page. It's distracting and obviously a fault of some sort...

Hi @Sarah2277

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

What is the operating system on your computer?

Please try uninstalling and reinstalling HP Smart on your computer.

Uninstall the app from your Windows-

  1. In Windows, search for and open Apps & features.
  2. Click HP Smart in the list of apps, and then click Uninstall.

and then install the app back --Install and Use the HP Smart App (Windows 10)

From mac

  1. 1) From the Dock, click Finder.
  2. 2) At the main menu hit Go, then Applications, then open the HP/Hewlett Packard folder. ...
  3. 3) Click-Drag the HP/Hewlett Packard folder to the Dock -> Trash icon.

and then install the app back --Install and Use the HP Smart App (Mac)

Try and open the app and check.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
