same problem with web.de and gmx.de on my 7720.

just received today my new printer and only problems on the first day. hope it doesn't get any worse!

with printing from googlemail.com works fine.

 

i call support and we reset complete printer to factory reset and complete new configuration but no change.

 

also i have problems with "print to mail". it´s too slow and then it terminates with error message.

it takes a long time until everything is loaded and then it stops with an error message and I should try again or install a newer firmware. stupid only if the latest firmware is already installed 😑

hp is simply doing nothing to change its weird configuration.

A world leading company does not work RFC conform and simply closes all cases without a solution.

can it be that this problem occurred with the import of the last firmware of printers? Creation of this article and publication of the firmware for my 7720 (DE / EU) are very close together ...

 

however, this would be a very strange coincidence.

 

i try the complete day scan to mail and it take a lot of time. often stop the progress with error message.

now, 1:xx am - it works perfect and smooth and fast.

I have the same problem. Worked good for years, since a couple of month it doesn't work anymore. Create a new hpeprint account but still got the same delivery failed message. Also use WEB.de.

hp tell me, thats not there fault. the problem comes from email provider... i dont know, who tell the true.

follow solutions i get from support:

  • they tell me to "whitlist" the email adress from printer in the web / gmx account but i dont found the place to configure it.
  • then i should use outlook for sending the mail... but realy... what should change, if i send it from outlook or web page? i dont try it because i have no outlook installed on my system.
  • last "solution" = use another email adress... google mail works fine but how long, if web and gmx works long time good too.

so i use the last "solution" in moment, till they fix this problem.
