I have two HP 9010 printers installed. ePrint works with one but not the other. I spent over two hours on this problem with HP on chat to no avail. Can anyone provide me with some assistance in resolving this problem.

There is no Web Services anywhere on the control panel. I checked Settings under the wireless icon
and found the following:
Ethernet, Wireless, General, Security, Print Network Configuration Page, and Restore Network Settings. Am I looking in the wrong place? The printer is an HP 9015e I bought in January of 2024. I also looked for for someway to enable Web Services on the printer in the Embedded Web Server and did not find anything there.

Hi @Ray_1942,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Certainly! Troubleshooting printer connectivity issues can be frustrating, but let's try to resolve the problem with the HP 9010 printer that's not working with ePrint. Here's a step-by-step guide to troubleshoot the issue.
Verify Printer Connectivity:
- Make sure the problematic printer is properly connected to the network. Check the network cables (if applicable) and ensure the printer is connected to the same network as your computer or mobile device.
Check Network Settings on the Printer:
- Access the printer's control panel and navigate to the network settings. Ensure that the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network and has a valid IP address.
Restart Printer and Network Devices:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Restart your router or access point by unplugging it for about 30 seconds and then plugging it back in.
- After the router has fully restarted, plug the printer back in and turn it on. Allow it to fully boot up.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Check if there are any firmware updates available for your HP 9010 printer. Sometimes, firmware updates can resolve compatibility issues and improve functionality. You can usually check for updates through the printer's settings menu or HP's support website.
Check ePrint Settings:
- Ensure that ePrint is enabled on the printer. You can usually enable ePrint through the printer's control panel settings or the embedded web server (EWS).
- Access the printer's EWS by entering the printer's IP address into a web browser. From there, navigate to the ePrint settings and ensure it's enabled.
Reset ePrint Settings:
- If ePrint was previously enabled but still isn't working, try disabling it and then re-enabling it. Sometimes, resetting the ePrint settings can resolve connectivity issues.
Test ePrint from Different Devices:
- Try printing to the HP 9010 printer using ePrint from different devices (e.g., computer, smartphone, tablet). This can help determine if the issue is specific to a particular device or if it's a broader connectivity issue with the printer.
Check Firewall and Security Software:
- Ensure that your firewall or security software isn't blocking communication with the printer. Temporarily disable any firewall or security software on your computer or network and try printing via ePrint again.
By following these steps, you should be able to diagnose and resolve the issue with ePrint on your HP 9010 printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

I checked everything you suggested up to checking for ePrint on the printer display panel. There is an ePrint icon on the printer display panel of the printer that works but not the other printer, How do I get the ePrint icon on the printer display panel?

Hi @Ray_1942,
Thank you for your response,
To enable the ePrint feature and get the ePrint icon on the printer display panel, you'll need to follow these steps.
- Ensure Printer is Connected: Make sure your HP 9010 printer is connected to the internet. This is necessary for the ePrint feature to work.
- Enable Web Services: Access the printer's control panel. Navigate to the settings or setup menu. Look for an option related to "Web Services" or "HP ePrint" and enable it. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the setup.
- Print Info Sheet: Once Web Services are enabled, your printer will print an information sheet with an email address assigned to your printer. This is the address you'll use to send documents for printing.
- Check Display Panel: After enabling Web Services, the ePrint icon should appear on the printer's display panel. It typically looks like an envelope with an '@' symbol. If it doesn't appear immediately, give it a few moments to update.
- Test ePrint: To ensure everything is set up correctly, you can send an email with an attachment (supported formats include PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and image files) to the email address assigned to your printer. The document should print automatically.
- Manage ePrint Settings: You can further manage ePrint settings by accessing the printer's web interface. Enter the printer's IP address into a web browser, and you'll be able to access settings related to ePrint, such as print job status, email address management, and more.
By following these steps, you should be able to enable the ePrint feature and get the ePrint icon on the display panel of your HP 9010 printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
