When I get email from donotreply@hpeprint.com advising "Your print job has been received and prepared for printing" under the header appears:
"Gmail couldn’t verify that hpeprint.com actually sent this message (and not a spammer)."
This is on incoming email from hpeprint.com; wouldn't HP authenticate their outgoing emails?
This doesn't seem to have any affect on the ePrint. The only consequence is having to fish the hpeprint email out of the spam folder.
Thanks for any advice/suggestions

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,
The Riddle_Decipher is at your service.
As I Understand Gmail isn't verifying or accepting hp ePrint as an authentic email,
I must let you know that this is an issue within Gmail settings and has nothing to do with HP or the HP ePrint app,
And support for Gmail isn't within the HP support boundaries,
That said, I'm going an extra mile to help you with this google support link, please click here for details.
Keep me posted,
If the information I've provided was helpful,
Give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,
That'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Good Luck.

OK, I'll pick up the thread on this since the original poster didn't answer you.
I have the same exact problem, only my email doesn't end up in spam, it returns to my usual email queue.
I've done a lot of research on this through Google, and there's a lot of esoteric verbiage about DKIM and SPF... can't this be resolved in another way that plain laypeople can understand?
Thanks,
