Hi,
To print remotely when you're outside your home wifi range you will need to us ethe eprint feature that allows you to email content to your printers unique e-mail address - it will print whatever conetent is emailed.
I've included details on the setup here.

Hi,
What device are you trying to print wirelessly from?
If it's a tablet or smartphone, download the hp eprint app and enure that both your printer and mobile device are connected to the same wifi network - once this is complete, you'll be able to print from within the eprint app.

WHY do people (HP folks) keep pushing the ePrint, email option.
It's CRAP! Someone was drunk when they decided that
HP customers has to go through the trouble to covert their
text to PDF's (while their ON THE GO, away from their printer).
Even emailing photos, you have to search & figure out how
to email them.... while walking or driving, printer in hand
with HP forcing paying customers to use their troubled print options.
---- I finally found my old old antique CANON phone app PCL PLC or something
that does a decent job, but you have to tell it when paper tray to use
since the ~New~ HP printers has trouble figuring that out.
I just don't get why HP printers have degraded and HP allows canon
to get ahead of them on their printer & software tech.
( but canon thinks too much of their expensive photo printing $$$ )
