in setting up after an app update a pop up asked of i wanted to allow iphoto access & i accidentally toggled the wrong key, turning it on & i cannot find anything anywhere in regards to turning it back OFF. any help would be appreciated.

I don't have an iPhoto folder - I do have the "Photos" application on my iPad Pro.

I do have the HP Smart application installed.

 

The following might be enough the same that you can find and change the setup

 

Open / Log into your iPad

Settings > Scroll down and click on HP Smart to open the settings for the application

The access points are listed, including access to "Photos >"

Change the allowed access to "None" or similar
