Hello @sidha,
Welcome to the HP forums.
I understand that you would like to scan from your Deskjet 3525 to your computer while at a remote location.
I would like to help.
The ability to perform what you would like is currently unavailable.
Some printers have a scan to email feature. if someone where to scan, they could send it from the printer to your email.
Unfortunately this feature is not available on the Deskjet family of printers.

Hi @Hpurdy18
Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I understand that you are trying to find your printers host name.
On the printers control panel, press the Wireless button and the Start Copy Black button at the same time. A network configuration page should print. This will have the printers Host name and IP address on it.
Here is a link to the Deskjet 2540 User Guide. It may come in useful.
Let me know if those steps worked for you. If they did, that’s awesome! Give us some reinforcement by hitting the solution and kudos buttons, that’ll help us and others see that we’ve got the answers!
