I am unable to print on new printer from my iPhone 13

It sounds like your iPhone 13 is having trouble connecting to your HP OfficeJet Pro 8130e for printing. Here are some steps to troubleshoot:

 

Step 1: Ensure AirPrint is Enabled

  1. Make sure your printer supports AirPrint (which the HP OfficeJet Pro 8130e does).
  2. Ensure your iPhone and printer are on the same Wi-Fi network.
  3. Restart both your iPhone and printer.

Step 2: Check Printer Connection

  1. Open Settings → Wi-Fi on your iPhone.
  2. Look for your printer in the list of available devices.
  3. If it appears, tap it to connect.

Step 3: Use HP Smart App

  1. Download the HP Smart app from the App Store.
  2. Open the app and select Add Printer.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer.

Step 4: Reset Network Settings on Printer

  1. On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup → Network Setup.
  2. Select Restore Network Defaults.
  3. Reconnect the printer to Wi-Fi.

Step 5: Update Printer Firmware

HP regularly releases firmware updates that fix connectivity issues. Follow HP’s official guide to update firmware here.
