officejet 100 mobile printer
macOS 10.15 Catalina

I have an Officejet 100 Mobile Printer that I cannot get connected to my MacBook Pro or any mobile device. Not recognized via usb in the HP Utility like my other 2 HP printers. Not recognized via bluetooth on any mobile device, iPhone, iPad. Any ideas why this is? How can I find this printer to connect it?

@WOODY59, Welcome to HP Support Community!

I understand you'd want to connect the printer to your Mac and iOS devices. The Officejet Mobile 100 printer is not iOS compatible, it can work with your Mac OS computer though. Also, with regards to the USB connectivity, I'd recommend you try a different port/cable.

If the issue persists, run the disk utility on your computer-

1. Open Finder: Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility.  Open it.

2. Select your Macintosh HD on the left side, then click Repair Disk Permissions along the bottom.

3. Let it finish (20 minutes or so), then close Disk Utility.

Now, try installing the printer on the computer.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
