I have a macbook pro with Mac and windows operating systems hooked to an HP envy 7155 all-in-one printer. I have problem printing photos with window system. The printer prints the photo but does not load photo paper from the photo tray. The Mac side works fine. Can anything be done or am I stuck.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
- From which application/software you are printing photos?
- Have you selected the paper source as photo tray in the software?
Meanwhile, I recommend you follow the steps in the below article and check if it helps.
NOTE: Refer to the settings section and make sure that the source is selected as the photo tray.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

I recommend you root uninstall the printer and then reinstall it and check if it helps.
Here is how it is done.
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
6.) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the “Drivers” tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Restart the PC
14.) Download and install the printer software from the below link.

Thanks for trying to help. Unfortunately at this point nothing has worked. The printer does print the photos but will not select the photo paper tray. It only prints from the main paper tray. I have tried loading 4 x 6 and 5x7 photo paper in this tray but can't get a print. Probably if I wolud use 8.5 x 11 photo paper I could get a print that I can use, but I would be wasting a lot of paper.

I recommend you restore the factory defaults on the printer and then check.
Here is how it is done.
1. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ).
2. Touch Printer Maintenance.
3. Touch Restore.
4. Touch Restore Factory Defaults. A message appears stating that the factory defaults will be restored.
5. Touch Continue.
