wireless printing not working with Chrome/Chromebook

I cannot print from Chrome (on my windows 10 laptop) or from my son's Chromebook. 

I can print wirelessly from my laptop in the normal way (ie from Word).

This problem with Chrome is new. I had to reinstall my printer driver after the last Windows 10 update about a week ago, had some problems with printing and scanning that needed some new software. Now both printing and scanning are fine on my laptop, except that Google Cloud Print isn't working. 

The message I get is "cannot deliver print job to printer." I've tried deleting and reloading the printer on chrome, doesn't make any difference.

Any ideas?

Hello, if you have encountered any printer is offline, no printing, print job disappear, no printer found, scan issues or etc... Please try and download the HP Print Scan doctor from HP website. It will diagnose and fix the problem. This canned response is simply not my issue.  I have owned this system for quite some time and it has never failed in printing from my chrome book.  I want to talk to a human.
