Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Internal microphone will not work.  Have tried the following:

1.  Hard reset.

2.  Bios and driver updates.

3.  Deleting the Microphone Array and reinstalling.

4.  HP Support Assistant (speaker and microphone hardware problem detected)!!

 

For a fairly expensive laptop, this is horrible support from HP according to the numerous other owners with the same problem.

Although, I'll need some private information from you in order to create a case for you.

 

Please look for a private message requesting additional information. 

Keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers, case details, etc...).
