I just replace the NVMe SSD that came with this new HP ENVY 17-CG1003CA notebook and I had a problem with the SSD not being found which was fixed here HP ENVY Windows 10 not finding SSD? however when I did Windows updates for the first time without asking me Windows 10 update appears to have downloaded and is trying to install a BIOs update and that update now had the computer stuck in a boot loop i.e. when Windows Update said to Restart Now and I clicked it, it rebooted and showed me a screen with an HP logo and "HP Bios Update" and "initializing" and it reboots and comes back to that screen over and over again. I tried to get it to boot off of the Windows installer flash drive by getting to the boot menu but it seems to be bypassing any keys when the notebook starts up and goes right to the "HP Bios Update" screen. Is there any way to abort this Bios update as it seems to be having a problem?
