When I boot my pc i get "Selected boot image did not authenticate press <enter> to continue"
What i've done.
1.) Did a system restore point to a time that worked
2.) Tried refreshing the pc but it says my drive is locked
3.) ran a chkdsk via command prompt
4.) Disabled secure boot and enabled legacy support ( all this does prompt a new message "No Bootable device -- Insert boot disk and press any key"
5.) I've also done the full reset as well by removing the power and battery holding in the power button for 30 seconds. Still no fix.
Note:
I do not want to reformat my PC unless its 100% necessary, also this is a preinstalled windows notebook
Model: HP Pavilion TouchSmart 15 Notebook PC
please assist. Thank you .
