Hey @Swapvb

First and foremost, I want to welcome you to the HP Support Forums! Here at the forums, you will find suggestions, solutions and helping hands!

I understand that you cannot get into your Notebook because you are receiving a no bootable device message.

Did the error message say "Boot Device Not Found"? If so, please use the Boot Device Not Found Error or Hard Drive Not Detected document.

Here I have provided a list of steps to try with linked extra documentation if you need it. Please try to:

If none of the troubleshooting steps provided above resolved the error condition, please make sure that you back up your personal data from your Notebook and then try to Perform an HP System Recovery again.

If the System Recovery does not work again, please use the Troubleshooting an HP System Recovery document.

If this reply helped, please use the Accept as Solution button. If you want to give me a virtual high five, please click the Thumbs Up icon below.

If you require further assistance, I would be more than happy to continue to help you. Please re-post with the results of the troubleshooting and your Model Number (How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?).

Thanks for joining the HP Support Community!

Have a great day!
