My laptop has 2 fans and I notice that only 1 of them is open, even when it's running loudly while I play games ( the device heats up ). How do I check if the second fan doesn't work or whether it doesn't open simply because the device doesn't deem itself hot enough?

My laptop is 2 months old.

Please use the following tool called SpeedFan to check

              https://www.techspot.com/downloads/547-speedfan.html

You should see one runs more RPM than other and that is OK

Regards.
