Product: A900 Presario by Compaq
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

The audio ouput jack on my A900 is damaged, can it be removed from the board and a new one soldered in, or must the whole board be changed?

Welcome to HP Community

 

You need to replace the Motherboard if the Audio Output Jack is Damaged.

 

There might be few local computer stores or technicians who might be able to get a new Audio port jack soldered in

Thank you KrazyToad, if I decide to repair it, I believe the best route would be to put in another motherboard.
