I’m using an HP Envy 15 (Beats edition) notebook. My current battery is part number 756478‑851 and the rating is 14.8 V  41 Wh. I’m looking to replace it.
Here are my questions:

  1. Can you confirm if a battery with specs 14.8 V, 41 Wh and part number 756478‑851 or compatible numbers) works properly in this model?

  2. Are there other compatible part numbers recommended by HP (for example variants like 756479‑221 or similar?

  3. Does HP recommend any specific battery model or vendor for replacement to maintain warranty compatibility?

  4. Are there any firmware or BIOS updates I should install after replacing the battery to ensure full functionality?

  5. Any tips for safe installation and calibration after replacement?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Enter your notebook's product number in the search window at the link below and it will provide the parts list which will have the HP battery part number your notebook uses.

HP PartSurfer

Once you have the part number, you can do a search on Amazon, eBay or laptopbatteryexpress.com and find a compatible aftermarket battery that references the HP part number.
