My laptop is just two months out of warranty, and it appears the left hinge has broken.  When I close the laptop, the left hinge cover is separated from the computer.  You can pop it back in place, but as soon as you open the laptop it moves again.  I'm not sure if this is a hinge issue or a hinge cover issue.  How can I fix this?  Thanks.

Not satisfied.  I did as you instructed above and spoke with Raja.  This computer is only 2 months out of warranty, damaged not due to a drop or accident.  At first, Raja refused to tell us how much it would cost to repair without my home address.  The zip code wasn't enough.  Finally, after having me wait for over 15 minutes without a response,  Raja told me it would cost $299.99 plus tax to repair a computer barely out of warranty.  I'm in the market for a new computer, and for the first time in 5 or 6 computer purchases, it won't be an HP.

@ThatGuyFromSoMe

So I posted on 12/7/2020 a concern I had about broken hinges on my HP. @The_Fossette quickly responded (thank you) and offered assistance in connecting me to someone in my region. @ThatGuyFromSoMe (aka @GeorgeSoMe) sent me a private message asking for specific information and stated that HP would provide a one-time out of warranty repair since the warranty has literally just expired. So now, almost 3 weeks later, I cannot get a response from @ThatGuyFromSoMe and I still don't know how to get my computer fixed. He had the HP badge and HP ID. I would really like to get my computer fixed before it dies completely due to not being able to charge correctly or the lid falls off from the continuing breakage. Is this guy really from HP? Am I going to get support or do I need to just trash this machine for another brand? Thanks for any assistance from any one!
