Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hii ,

I want to install a SSD (Crucial MX500 500GB SATA M.2 (2280)) in my HP 15 Laptop (HP 15 BS145TU) in the supported empty slot.

But in the user manual it is said that it will support below combination:

Dual storage configuration (Intel Core processors only)

256 GB Value SSD + 1 TB HDD

128 GB Value SSD + 1 TB HDD

My question is, can I configure my laptop drive 1TB HDD + 512 GB SSD or not ?

Hi:

Yes, you can install a 500 GB M.2 SATA SSD and use it along with the 2.5" drive.

The drive capacities listed in the manual are just what HP offered in the model series, not the max capacity supported.
