HP 17" Envy Notebook Product No. V9E98AV
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My battery indator won't show a charge more then 94%.  It used to show 100%.  Every place I read to reset the percentage says to remove the battery, etc.  This unit was special ordered from HP and I don't see any panels or screws on the bottom to remove the battery.  The battery tests all indicate a good battery, so I'm sure it's really at 100% when it shows 94%.

Does anyone know a different procedure to reset the percentage number without removing the battery?

Thanks in advance,  SteveM303

Your device is probably working as designed.

Once the battery slowly discharging to ~94%, it recharges to 100%.  Then, it co ntinues that cycle as long as the laptop is connected to AC power through the charging adapter.
