HP Pavilion 17-cd0526na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I am trying to get my HP Pavilion 17-cd0526na to power over USB-c using power delivery.  The tech sheet states that power delivery is available on this model but I can get this to work. I have bought multiple USB-C power delivery chargers going up in Watts each time. I am now at 90w USB charger which seems to be the highest I can go.

Current USB C charger: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Adapter-Charger-Ponkor-MacBook-Laptops/dp/B07Q9LRHH9/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&ke...

Can anyone tell me if they have managed to get this to work or how I can get this to work?

Thanks

Rob

The specs of your machine is

It requires   150 W AC power adapter and you think that tiny charger is going to work ? My lesson 55 years ago told me you need a more powerful charger  and MUST be compatible with HP machines. All USB-C ports are not the same HP has different way to implement USB-C chargers.

I know HP has the following charger (and few lower wattage chargers) but it is still for lower wattage machines (not compatible with yours).
