There may be times that I will need to charge my hp Stream 11 Laptop in my car. I have a cheap Power Inverter (that I've not used) but I've read "inexpensive models don't generate pure sine waves, which could damage sensitive electronics". Should I chance doing this?
Your help is greatly appreciated!

I am now charging my notebook using USB-C PD 65W Charger, here is an example:

Then connect using HP Tip DC Converter like this:

or using this one:

If you connect using USB-C PD cable (please provide cable which sufficient current, for 65W, you might need 100W/5A cable) that available on the market), it depend on the notebook how much the maximum drain power from charger.
