I have a HP Pavilion 14 Notebook PC that is about 3 years old. I replaced the battery a year ago and just started having a problem with my laptop again. Recently my HP Pavilion has been shutting off when the battery is getting low, without giving me any warning. I am able to turn it back on and it works fine once I plug it in, but it can be a bit annoying. I did a hardware test and recieved a component failure notification. The ID is PLH3H3-77E940-MFPV7G-60X503. I just want to know what this failure ID means and if I can fix my computer. RIght now, my computer shutting off randomly is an inconvenience but I do not want to cause further problems by ignoring the issue. If anyone could help me that would be great!

straight up inexpensive replacement:
You also have option to install a larger, faster (or both) storage disk but the larger and faster obviously the more expensive so post back with questions. If you can swing it you want to do a solid state drive instead of the old-school spinner disk.
Still looking for a youtube or other video.
Post back with any questions and please accept as solution if this is the answer you needed.

Is it under warranty? If so definitely send to HP. Otherwise it is very expensive to have HP fix stuff out of warranty. We can provide a manual and probably videos and definitely purchase suggestions and you do it yourself or find a tech savvy friend or even take it to a local shop.

I should have asked earlier but to get you the right instructions I need to know the specific model or product number of the laptop:
