HP ENVY x360 15m-bp111dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP ENVY x360 15m-bp111dx - 3 Days out of warranty and my left hinge has become detached on the monitor side, causing bottom monitor frame to pop out. My laptop was in perfect condition.  No drops or bumps. Light use.  Based on the large number of HP customers that are experiencing this same issue, I can't help but to think this is a HP ENVY x360  hinge manufacturing defect.  Do you have a system in place to resolve this or am I on my own and left with a defective laptop?

The left hinge on my computer broke also.  It stays at my desk and have never dropped it nor abused it.  Went to close it one day and it wouldn't close. In doing many searches, I see this is a common problem and a design flaw  with this laptop.

I went to a local repair place and they say it would cost approx $300.00 to fix it!  I am still making payments on this computer.

This is a rediculous situation especially with it being a design flaw and not my mishandeling!  What will you do about this issue?

I too am having this problem!  This is ridiculous, I paid over $750 for this computer and it has already broken.  This is DEFINITELY A DESIGN ISSUE.  Plus I can't get through to a human being, this is exactly what causes customers to go elsewhere!
