I need to purchase a new LCD Lid for my laptop because the hinge snapped the plastic posts off where it screws into on the LCD side of the laptop. I’m wondering if there will be any sort of warranty if it happens again If I purchase the OEM part directly from HP. I ordered an aftermarket part and it lasted two days before snapping them again. I was babying it too... so I assume the aftermarket plastic was poor quality. I have even loosened the hinge nuts so the hinge opens and closes super easy now....

Although, I'll need some private information from you in order to create a case for you.

I don’t need or want a case opened. I simply want to know if there is a warranty for parts purchased through the HP Partsurfer website. My laptop is already out of warranty and I will be performing the installation of the parts myself as I am a proficient in dealing with computer hardware.

@xenosaga01 Parts purchased from the HP Parts store would have a warranty, the details of which should be display when you are placing the order, please go through the same to confirm it, and let us know if you need anything else.
Good luck!
