Am I the only person that thinks trying to get support is an effort in futility on this very elaborate unhelpful automated site?

I need a replacement stylus loop for my spectre folio leather notebook.  I have spent over an hour going in circles trying to get something helpful out of this automated system including access to a live person.  I have yet to get a useful response and all of my attempts to request an agent are completely unsuccessful when the system determines my warranty expired two weeks ago.  I am willing to pay for the part but can't even reach someone or something that understands the need.
