Hello. I have the exact same issue with the ELAN fingerprint sensor power management described in this post:

As described there, I am not able to login with the fingerprint sensor after the laptop was in deep sleep state. Also, disabling the power management option "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" temporarily seems to help, but it cannot be permanently disabled. For some reason it gets automatically enabled back after a while.
