Dear HP Community,
I need help ASAP. My HP Envy x360 14in laptop has suddenly stopped powering on and I got all my work in there 😞
To save us time:
Yes, I tried the hard reset with the 15-30sec timer before turning it back on plus tried the ‘windows’ key + ‘B’ key in sync. Yes, I ensured to check my laptop is clean. No, the screen does not flicker nor do I hear fan noises or keyboard lights come on. Nope, using an external monitor does not work. No, the cap lock light is not on either…
It’s always the same issue of the power button light coming on, then blinks once and goes off again.
Background:
It was working fine yesterday like usual so I don’t understand the problem that’s occurring this evening. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. I just bought this laptop last year and warranty is still valid but problem is I’m not in a country that has supported branches for HP and I need it sorted soon.
Sincerely,
Your troubled neighbor

Hi @Miajam,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand that your PC is not booting, and I appreciate you letting me know that you've already tried a BIOS restore along with a few other troubleshooting steps. If the issue persists, I would suggest you try the BIOS Restore one more time, keeping the adapter plugged in, so if something is missed, the system can help fix it.
BIOS Restore:
1) Shutdown the computer, keep the charger plugged
2) Hold down the Windows and B button together while the computer is still turned off.
3) Turn on the computer and continue to hold the Windows and B button until a BIOS Recovery screen appears.
4) Follow on-screen instructions and click on OK.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Hi VikramTheGreat, I trust this message finds you well.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to resolve the issue. I specifically mentioned in my original post that I had already tried the suggested solutions without success, which is why I was seeking further assistance from the community. At this time, the issue remains unresolved, so I am unable to mark the response as an accepted solution. I appreciate any additional guidance or alternative solutions that may help.
Thank you, and I look forward to further support.

Hi @Miajam,
Thank you for reaching out again! Could you please check if the Caps Lock key is blinking on your PC? If so, do you notice any specific pattern, such as three long blinks followed by two short ones, or any other sequence? This information will help us better understand the issue. Please check and let me know—I’m happy to assist you further!
Keep me posted
